One of the things I'm keeping my eye on in terms of marketing collateral trends is the delivery and optimization of content via mobile apps. Is it possible (or worth it?) to package marketing assets in a snazzy NotePad app and allow users to interact based on their own logic? I'm not sure yet how this would be any simpler or easier than accessing a Web portal with this kind of information, but there have been enough folks talking to us about it that I'm very curious how it will play out.
One thing is clear: mobile devices are increasing the use of online video/audio/multimedia files in general, including those created for B2B and B2C marketing and selling. Interactivity attracts and engages, and I think it will be interesting to see how B2B marketers will leverage that reality via mobile apps.
